Char has been married 16 years this month to my everything, Mr. Ken Martin.  I'm originally from Ohio and moved to Peachtree City, Georgia in 2003 meeting Ken in 2004.  Our journey begins here.  He was born in Alabama and moved around the South before his family settled down in Peachtree City, GA .  We met by chance one night and never looked back!  Between the two of us we have 4 children.  When we met our children were 17, 13, 12 and 9.  Now they are 33, 29, 28 and 25.  He had two girls and I had two boys and we blended perfectly together!   Both our daughters got married in February 2020, purchased their first homes and are both expecting in early 2021!  Yes .....both at the same time!  Yes we are about to be first time Grandparents!  My oldest son is engaged and my youngest son says he's single for life....we will see :)  Life has been very good to us and we live blessed!  We enjoy bringing everyone together and spending time together.  We love the beach and hope to one day own a "get away"  home .... most likely in the Gulf Shores, Alabama area!  We are Auburn fans through and through and enjoy college football, tailgating with family and friends, and being outdoors as much as possible.  Our backyard is our oasis and most nights you can find us hanging out under the many lights or sitting next to the bonfire.     We've traveled some but mostly in the United States .  Oh except our trip to Australia!  Loved Australia!   We hope to do more traveling as we continue on our journey together.  My career life has been awesome!   I've been in the furniture/bedding industry 30+ years and I found my passion in training and presenting! Even being a brand ambassador on the Home Shopping Network for 5 years.   As I once said,  I don’t want to adapt to the energy in the room, I want to influence the energy in the room!   I have lots of energy for building quality relationships with people and I have a heart that wants to help.  I am very grateful and humbled by my life and try to give back whenever I can.  Live well, laugh often, love deeply!
